About Ben Saxton
Ben received a BA in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1994. After graduating, he served 2 years as a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps in Honduras C.A.. Ben began his career in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Finance in 2000 with Paradigm Financial Services, Inc., a private, hard-money lender. In that role he worked with clients seeking unconventional loan options and he provided short-term, collateral-based debt.
He was later hired by the Portland-based private lender, Fairway Commercial Mortgage to help establish their Seattle office.
In 2005, Ben was recruited to join Robertson Capital Corporation, a Full – Service Commercial Mortgage Banking firm specializing in arranging conventional debt for commercial real estate owners.
In 2012, with the experience of putting millions of dollars in the hands of his clients through Private, Bank, Conduit, Life Insurance, Agency, and Credit Union capital sources, and the ability to offer the full array of commercial mortgage capital, Ben formed Bloom Services, Inc. (Bloom Capital)
Ben understands that other than getting your CRE investment for the right price and good management, the right debt structure will be the most important element in the success and return on your CRE investment.
At Bloom Capital, Ben maintains laser focus on the sourcing, negotiating, closing and funding of your mortgage loan, freeing you to concentrate on higher level operations, acquisitions & management.
Ben is married with two children. When he’s not shepherding a loan across the finish line or maintaining capital partnerships, he is happily spending time with his wife and their children.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys swimming, reading, music, and cooking and either watching his son swim or his daughter play softball.
About Shannon Saxton
Shannon is the Chief Operating Officer at Back Office Connection, Inc. a Kirkland based company that provides services to Registered Investment Advisors and Wealth Managers.
Shannon also serves as the Treasurer of Bloom Capital. She collaborates with Ben at a corporate level on business development strategies & consulting, supports marketing initiatives, corporate finances and we joke that she is the company “IT Support.”
When Shannon is not working her priority is spending time with her busy family. She loves listening to music, cooking, gardening, and going on VACATION!
